The Magic of early learning
Teaching in a pre-primary classroom is a journey filled with laughter, curiosity, and endless learning. Every day, I step into my classroom knowing that I play a crucial role in shaping young minds, helping them develop foundational skills that will support their lifelong learning.
Children at this stage are naturally curious. Their little hands want to touch, explore, and experiment with everything around them. As a pre-primary teacher, my job is not just to teach letters and numbers but to nurture their love for learning through play, storytelling, and hands-on activities.
I remember a moment when a child excitedly pointed at a butterfly outside the window and shouted, “Look, teacher! It’s flying!” That one moment turned into an impromptu lesson about colours, movement, and nature. Learning at this stage is spontaneous, and every small discovery is a big achievement for them.
