Effective enforcement of education policies – promoting a positive and productive learning environment
The current education policy in India is the National Educator Policy (NEP) 2020, which aim to modernize the education system focusing on inclusivity, Foundational literacy, and a new 5+3+3+4 structure, replacing the traditional 10+2 system.
For School introduces a 5+3+3+4 structure, which means:
- 5 years of Foundational schooling (ages 3–8) – Nursery to II.
- 3 years of preparatory schooling (ages 8–11) – III to V.
- 3 years of middle schooling (ages 11–14) – VI to VIII.
- 4 years of Secondary Schooling (ages 14–18) – IX to XII.
A. POLICY IMPLEMENTATION
- School Administration – The School administration, including the Principal, Heads and Department heads plays a crucial role in implementing education policies.
- Teacher training - School provides aiming programs and workshops understand and implement new policies.
- Staff meeting - Regular staff meetings with Heads & Principal are held to discuss policy implementation, take feedback & and address concerns.
B. MONITORING AND EVALUATION
- Regular observation and inspections School Head conduct regular inspections and class observations to ensure policy compliance.
- Student Assessments - Students assessment through test (Periodic Half year & Final examination and evaluations help monitor policy effectiveness and improvement needed for excellence.
- Teacher Evaluation – Teacher evaluations through review assess their adhere to policies and effectiveness in implementing them.
C. COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
School engage with parent through workshops, meetings, programs and volunteer opportunities to promote policy awareness and involvement. Parents are provided regular update by the class teaching on student progress school events.
D. STUDENT SUPPORT
- Individualized support: Provide individualized support for student with unique needs & challenges.
- Counselling services: Other counselling services to support student emotional and mental well-being.
